Tom Fitzsimon Award 2013

 

Background

The Tom Fitzsimon Award is a peer-nominated professional learning award sponsored by BACPPA, which recognises a strong commitment to professional learning in the fields of leadership and education made by a leader in one of our Catholic schools.  The award consists of a professional reading grant.  Recipients of the award will be profiled on the Association website, where a perpetual record of recipients will be recorded. This award will be presented each year at the BACPPA AGM.

Steve Taylor - Winner of the 2013 Tom Fitzsimon Award

The Tom Fitzsimon award was this year presented to Steve Taylor, principal of St Stephen’s School Algester. Steve is a worthy recipient of the Tom Fitzsimon award and the association congratulates him on his dedication and commitment to principalship in the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

Steve is pictured with Margaret Fitzsimon, Mike Byrne, Executive Director Queensland Catholic Education Commission and Ms Pam Betts Executive Director of Brisbane Catholic Education.
